Hi, I’m Mike, a UX and Product Designer with over 12 years of experience creating user-centered experiences across multiple industries. My UX journey has been diverse, spanning news media, agency work, and enterprise design. I specialize in building and scaling accessible design systems, with much of my experience rooted in the healthcare field. Over the past 8.5 years, I’ve served as a UX design lead and manager at Johnson & Johnson, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful and scalable solutions.
During my time at J&J, I joined a large-scale design system initiative as a design lead, solidifying my passion for systems thinking and collaboration. That passion deepened when I led a major accessibility overhaul of the system—a turning point in my career that united systems thinking, accessibility advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration. This experience reinforced my commitment to designing inclusive, scalable solutions that work for everyone.
Today, I seek opportunities where I can continue to unite collaboration, systems thinking, and accessible design to build user-centered products that are inclusive by default and meaningful at scale.
When I’m not working, I’m a dad to two very active kids and a frequent chauffeur to their many activities. I enjoy hands-on DIY projects, discovering music across multiple genres, getting pulled into a great new show, and love traveling and exploring new places with my family.
